Thomas Y. Kim, MD

Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon

Dr. Kim has been with Orthopedic Associates, S.C. since 2000. He is a fellowship trained, board certified orthopedic surgeon and a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He graduated from Harvard Medical School in 1992 where he trained with world-renowned doctors. During his residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals in Philadelphia, PA, he assisted in the clinical and surgical care of the Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers. While at TJUH, Dr.Kim trained at the Rothman Institute, one of the busiest joint replacement centers in the country.

During his sports medicine fellowship, he assisted in the care of the University of California at San Diego athletes. In addition to general orthopedics, Dr. Kim specializes in sports medicine, minimally invasive arthroscopic rotator cuff repair and shoulder stabilization, knee ligament reconstruction, and partial & total knee, hip, & shoulder replacement surgery.

Eduard H. Sladek, MD

Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon

In 1994, Dr. Sladek completed his undergraduate degree in biology at Northwestern University and his medical school training at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1998. He finished his orthopedic residency in 2003 at the University of Illinois at Chicago. After residency, he attended the Cleveland Clinic Foundation for a fellowship in adult lower extremity joint reconstruction. His fellowship training included primary and revision total hip & knee joint replacement. He has currently been in practice at Orthopedic Associates, S.C. since 2005.

Dr. Sladek practices general orthopedics & specializes in joint replacement. His joint replacement interests include computer-assisted navigation for hip & knee replacements, revision joint replacements, and minimally invasive techniques, including partial knee replacement & makoplasty. Dr. Sladek, in partnership with Dr. Kim, also developed the minimal stay joint replacement program at Northwest Community Hospital.

Brian H. Moss, DO

Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon

Dr. Brian Moss joined Orthopedic Associates after completing his Orthopedic Sports Medicine fellowship in San Diego. During fellowship, Dr. Moss worked with a wide variety of elite athletes in sports ranging from NFL football, to WWE wrestling, professional rodeo, MMA, rugby, and skate boarding. He completed his residency at Michigan State University where he was exposed to a wide range of orthopedic surgical cases.

Dr. Moss enjoys the variety of general orthopedic surgery but specializes in sports medicine procedures including knee and shoulder arthroscopic ligament reconstruction and repair. He also enjoys trauma surgery, and additionally knee and shoulder arthroplasty.
